On 30 August, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order conferring the honorary title of People’s Artist of Azerbaijan on Nasiba Melikovna Abdullaeva.
According to the order, “For services in developing cultural ties between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the honorary title of ‘People’s Artist’ is to be conferred on Nasiba Melikovna Abdullaeva.” — as stated on the website of the country’s leadership.
